Baby page a little late. Oh wait, I did not scrapbook when I took this pic. SO fun to scrapbook older photos and think of those times. This page is for KWernerDesignBlog Color Inspiration Challenge #34. The little elephants from Nursery Necessities remind me of a song from my grade-school days. " Make believe your in a jungle movie. Watch the baby elephants go by. The beat is frightful. Its the brand-new dance you oght to try. Come to the jungel and see the animal attraction. Baby elephants in action walk..."
Here is a detail look...
Goodies used: White Embossing powder, White Craft ink, Urban Garden Designer Paper, Coluzzel, 1/8", 1 3/4" Circle Punches, Big Deal Alphabet, White Gel Pen for journaling. I was so inspired by some of the other designs in the challenge using yarn (some EVEN knitted or crocheted little embellishments!) that I had to add a little too. Normally I would just use SU ribbon, but I dug into my stash and look what else I found...I got this in Monte Carlo when I lived there. Stitched most of it a few years ago when I was not working full-time, and I have about 10 stitches left! Why I never finished it who knows? So this is getting finished before the New Year!
Here is a closer look at my cutie James. He said, "MOM! I'm naked!" (He has on a diaper!) Ha! He has his blankie in his hands and even then he had messed up teeth needing braces.
Below is the inspiration and colors.
I hope you have a GREAT day! Thanks for checking it out! Diana
