Best Puppy Love Challenge

Hello there, here is my KWernerdesign.com Color Inspiration Challenge for this week. The colors where tough(see below). I knew just the pictures I wanted to scrap for this challenge. Each fall (for seven years now) I marvel at the colors the neighbors' trees create for only a few days. Until this time, I always miss getting them photographed. NOT this year. I "made" James pose for some pictures with Ella. The pictures still do not do the real-life-colors justice. And next year I will take more. But here are some of the pictures and the layout too. (Still trying to figure out the best presentation of my pages on the web. So much better in IRL.)

Here is my challenge entry. I used the Scallop Square Punch for corners, love this trick or tip. Big Deal Alphabet, Best Wishes & More, Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie Craft Inks. I only embossed the two hearts with clear. Paper Colors are listed on the challenge info below. Bella Designer Series paper put thru my printer for the journaling. Not sure you can read it? It says.."In a few weeks you will turn twelve years old, amazing. Ella has all your love now...but for how long? James November 2008"

Here are the challenge colors from Kristina, I sort of skipped out on the Whisper White...oops. I kept telling myself that Ella's fur and maybe the sky could count?

This shot really does a better job of showing off the leaf colors...I already miss fall. It is suppose to snow today...hello winter. Got to love the mid-west. I can't imagine not having all four seasons.
